Engagement Priorities
Our priorities for engaging with the community about the Wagga North BESS project are to:

Provide clear and concise information about the Project and its impacts

Work in partnership with the community to understand and address issues

Facilitate informed decision-making

Deliver a project that improves the energy resilience of the region and provides economic opportunities for local employment and supply chain
Community Consultation:
IB Vogt has conducted the following mix of engagement activities:

Letter and email correspondence to stakeholders inviting them to a face-to-face meeting to discuss the project, opportunities, and benefits

Follow-up phone calls where required

Targeted stakeholder meetings with Council and First Nations stakeholders

A project fact sheet outlining key project information to guide conversations at targeted meetings

Community feedback survey centered around collecting ideas for benefit sharing opportunities
